City Palace Jaipur / City Palace Jaipur is one of Rajasthan's most famous historical and tourist destinations. This is a palace complex. City Palace is a popular heritage located in the heart of the city. This magnificent palace was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh Madho who had established Jaipur. This beautiful complex has many buildings, spacious courtyards and attractive gardens, which are a sign of its majestic history. There are important buildings like 'Chandra Mahal' and 'Mubarak Mahal' in this complex. The small part of its palace has been transformed into a museum and art gallery. In the City Palace, there is the throne of Maharaja of Jaipur of the Kachwah Rajput descent. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who was ruling on Amer from 1699 to 1744, started the construction of this palace complex. This complex is spread over several acres. He had earlier ordered the construction of the outer wall of this complex. Its construction started in 1729 and it took three years to complete it. This palace complex was completely completed and completed in 1732.

The building style of the City Palace is an incomparable blend of Rajput, Mughal and European styles. These buildings, made of red and pink sandstone, have a fine harvest on stone and painted on the walls. There was no lack of wealth and wealth among the Qachwaha rulers. Therefore, Maharaja Jai ​​Singh II wanted to set up a fully planned safe, beautiful and prosperous city. The city of Jaipur was the first planned city to be built in the eighteenth century. Along with this, its splendor was great and surprising.

The royal dresses worn by Maharaja Sawai Madho Singh (1750 - 1768) have also been kept in this museum which the general public can see. The Palace Palace or Queen Palace is also located in the City Palace complex, where many ancient Rajputs are depicted in arms. The museum houses elephant teeth swords, chain weapons, firearms, pistols, guns, blades of gunny poisons and gun powder pouches for the demonstration. Among all these, the cesare-scissor-action is the most notable weapon. Some of these weapons are around 15th century.
