Madhya Pradesh is called "the heart of India" due to its location in the center of the country. It has been home to the cultural heritage of Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism. Because of the countless monuments of the state, excellent carved temples, stupas, forts and palaces, it can also call it a landmark land.

Gwalior is famous for its fort, Jai Vilas Palace, Rani Lakshmibai's Tomb, Mohammed Ghosh, and Tansen. The temples of Khajuraho are world famous for their erotic idols and are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Famous National Parks are located in Kanha National Park, Bandhavgarh, Madhav National Park, Shivpuri, Pench in Madhya Pradesh.

Due to the tiger population, Madhya Pradesh is also called Tiger State.

A unique and exciting panorama of wildlife is offered in the Silvan surroundings, located miles and miles of magnificent mountain ranges, rivers, and dense forests.

Madhya Pradesh is known for the Narmada river, it is the oldest and sacred river and it is worshiped in the Hindu religion as the goddess. This is a pilgrim center for the Hindus. Another great tourist spot is Bhadghat land in Jabalpur. This place is surrounded by marble of different colors.
