Andhra Pradesh is the most preferred tourist destination of the people. In the state of Andhra Pradesh, there is also beautiful beauty, forest, beach, and many temples.

Andhra Pradesh is home to many religious pilgrimages:

Kanaka Durga Temple of Goddess Durga is also located in the city of Vijayawada on the banks of Krishna river on the Indkiladri hill. A large number of pilgrims are involved in this colorful celebration of the festival and on the day of the Dussehra celebration, holy dive in the river Krishna.

Tirumala Tirupati, the home of Lord Venkateswara, is one of the world's second most prosperous and most famous religious temples. This temple is also one of the 108 Divyadesam dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Every year Brahmotsav is also organized, in which more than 5,00,000 devotees participate.

Kodandarama temple built in vontimitta of Kadapa district is a temple built in the 16th century, which is dedicated to Lord Rama. This temple is given great importance in Andhra Pradesh.

Mallikarjuna Swami Temple, built in Nalalma hills of Srisailam in Kurnool district, is also one of the 12 Jyotirlinges of God Shiva's residence in India and Lord Shiva. Lord Rama himself had established Saharsling here, while Pandavas established Panchvandav Ling in the courtyard of the temple.

Lord Hanuman is famous in Ponnur of Guntur district. The height of the statue of Lord Hanuman established here is 23 meters.

It is situated in the name of Pancham region known as Lord Rama, the five ancient Hindu temples of Amar Ram (Amravati), draksha rama, Somaram (Bhimavaram), Kshirma and Kumararama.

Shree Kalahastisar Temple on the banks of the Swarnamukhi river in Chittoor district is one of the panchbhut lingo who represents the air. That is why the fourth gender is also called airing. The remaining four sexes of Lord Shiva are located in Tamil Nadu.

There are 9 temples dedicated to Lord Narasimha. Of which 8 are located in Andhra Pradesh and they include Simanchal, Antarwedi, Vedadri, Mangalagiri, Panchalakon, Ahobilan, Yaganti and Kadiri.

Ahobil is one of the 108 Divasamadams dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Mangalagiri is one of Lord Vishnu's 8 swaynmbhu kshetra. Other swaynmbhu include Yadadri built in Telangana state.

As per Ashtashakti, 3 Shaktipeeth is established in the state of Andhra Pradesh only. They mainly include Drakshramam, Pithapuram and Srisailam.

Virbhadra Swamy Temple, which is situated near Godavari river and near Patisima village, has also been described in Purana. Legends say that Lord Veerabhadra cleared his blood full of blood after destroying Neissivayaga.

Located 12 km from Kanipakam and Amalapuram in Chittoor district , the AinaVilli is famous for the temples of Lord Vishneshwar.

The trikut mountain is generally a sacred and religious pilgrimage, which is situated near Narasarapet in Guntur district. The festival of Mahashivaratri is celebrated with great gestures here. Almost 7 to 8 lakh devotees come to take God's blessings on this day.

The other famous places of the state are mainly Raghavendra Swami Math, which is a temple built in the Ministry of Kurnool district. Other nearby temples include Dwarka Tirumala, built in West Godavari District, Anandvaran in East Godavari, Arsavalli Sun Temple, Srimukhlingam of Srikurmam and Srikakulam district.

Undavalli Valley - The intact four-story cave was made in the fourth century.

Araku valley - This valley near Vizag town is also known as Andhra Ooty.

Gandhikot Fort: This fort was built on the banks of the Panna River, which included the Madhavariya and Ranganath temple.

The Hanuman Temple, built in the Kanchi Kachrela village of Krishna district, is a famous tourist destination. The height of the statue of Hanuman ji established in the temple is 135 meters. This temple is built on the Vijayawada-Hyderabad highway.


Thimmama marimanu - the world's highest banyan tree, and in 1989 this tree was also included in the Guinness Book of World Records. The branch of this tree is spread over 5 acres. This tree is 35 kilometers from Kadiri and 100 kilometers from Anantapur.

Lepakshi: It is one of the largest (length 27 feet, height 15 feet) of the world, the monolithic Nandi (Lord Shiva's vehicle), it is situated 15 kilometers east of Hindupur and 105 kilometers from Anantapur and 120 kilometers north of Bangalore. This temple is famous for hanging pillars, which reflects the finest works of the Vijayanagar empire.

Prakasam Barrage: This is a famous bridge that was constructed by the British government in memory of Tanguturi Prakash. This is one of Vijayawada's famous tourist destinations.

Kolleru Lake: This is a famous lake which is built between Krishna and Western Godavari district.

The Pulicat lake is on the border of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, this lake is surrounded by an area of 500 sq km. It is the second largest saltwater lake in India and it still remains on the Bay of Bengal Bay. There is also a bird museum in this lake, which attracts millions of people on its side.

Uppalapadu Bird Sanctuary: This sanctuary built in Guntur district has about 8000 types of birds. Also, we can also see the resident birds from other countries from October to January.

Bora cave remains in the Anagiri hill in eastern Ghat. Which is at a height of 800 to 1300 meters near Visakhapatnam
