Andaman Nicobar Islands Tourist Places

Andaman and Nicobar islands are located in the Indian Ocean in the south of the Bay of Bengal. Andaman and Nicobar are two separate islands which are only 10 degrees north latitudes away from each other. The Andaman Islands in the north and the Nicobar Islands are located in the south.

Andaman and Nicobar is a great place for tourism on the island. According to official information, the inflow of tourists in Andaman in 2008-09 was 1,30,000, which increased to 3,00,000 in 2012. There are around 570 tropical islands in Andaman, out of which only 36 are inhabited on the islands.

In 2004, Time Magazine ranked Radhanagar beach on Havelock Island as the best beach in Asia. In addition to the Time Magazine, this beach has been included in the 7 best seasides of the world.

Andaman and Nicobar are not only famous for scuba diving and its beautiful seashore, but many different species of animals, birds and beautiful flowers found in the forests make it a romantic honeymoon place.
