Himachal Pradesh is famous for its Himalayan landscape and popular hill stations. Many outdoor activities like Rock climbing in Himachal Pradesh, mountain biking, paragliding, ice-skating and heli-skiing are popular tourist attractions.

Himachal Pradesh's capital Shimla is very popular among tourists. Kalka-Shimla Railway is a Mountain Railway, which is the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shimla is a famous skiing attraction in India.

Other popular hill stations include Manali and Kasauli, Dalai Lama's house is known for Dharamsala, Tibetan monasteries and Buddhist temples. Many trekking campaigns also start here. There is a large and open road in Shimla which is the center for the cultural activities of Shimla.
