Pragati Maidan, Delhi

Pragati Maidan is Delhi's largest exhibition center and is a popular tourist attraction. This 72,000 sqm area has been a venue for many important events and exhibitions of Delhi and its care is carried out by the Indian Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) as a business promotion unit under the Union Commerce and Industry Ministry. Pragati Maidan, established in 1982, is located in front of the old fort.

For the exhibition field 61,290 square meters covered area and about 10,000 sq. Area is open field. The whole premises has 18 exhibition halls, several buildings, food shops, period display sites and ITPO's headquarters. Each year Pragati Maidan hosts about 70 national and international exhibitions. Out of these, the annual International Trade Fair is organized in which approximately 30,000 visitors and nearly 10,000 exhibitors participate.

In other exhibitions, the Auto Expo and World Book Fair are important. Pragati Maidan means the area of ​​progress and there are several congregations in which the Mandir, the Nehru Mandap, the Mandap of India and Indira Mandap are included. There are also many rock shows organized in the grounds on the grounds. Every year Delhi's income tax department imposes 150 stalls for filling people's income tax returns. Simultaneously, the celebration of the famous Wills Lifestyle Indian Fashion Week (WIFF) of the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) was held in the year 2008 and 2009.
