Aamer Fort, Jaipur


The Amer Fort / Aamer Fort is a unique example of Rajput architecture in a historic town Amer in Pink City, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Aamer's fort stands between the wild hills of the Delhi-Jaipur highway, showing its image in the waters of the Maata Lake below with its vast ramparts. Ammer's Fort is famous for its Hindu art. In the attractions of Rajasthan, historical Aamer is famous for its glorious stories and carvings, artistic style, Sheesh Mahal. Ammer's Fort is considered to be an excellent example of the high class craftsmanship. The castle built inside this fort is unmatched in itself. These palaces include Sheesh Mahal, which is known for its magnificent carvings.

The historic fort was built by King Man Singh, Raja Jai ​​Singh, and Raja Sawai Singh, who presents the historic glorious saga of his 200 years old. This fort is made of red stones and the corridors of this palace are made of white marble. This fort is built at a very high altitude, so there is a lot of climb to reach it.

In the fort, Dewan-i-Aam, Diwan-i-Khas and Shish Mahal ot Jai Temple and Hukam Niwas are also made in the palace. In this palace, Rajput Maharaj and his family lived first. Early history of the fort
Aamer has been the capital of the Suryavanshi Kachwahs in the six months of search of this city for six centuries. Aamer's fort was built in 1558 AD by King Bharmal ji. The process of construction continued later in the times of King Mansingh and King Jaysingh. After a gap of about a hundred years, this fort was completed after King Jai Singh Sawai's time. In the same period, there was a sweet connection between the Kachwaha Rajput and the Mughals, when the daughter of King Bharmal was married to Akbar. Later, King Mansingh joined Akbar's navratanas and became his commander. That was the Golden Age of Aamer Valley and this fort.

The tourists enter through the high arched eastern gate of the Amer Fort. This door is called Surajpole. A large square is located in front of it. This is called Jaleb Chowk. Ammer Fort is built on various stairs on the slopes of the hill. Jaleb Chowk is located on the lowest couch. There are some rooms on the three sides of the giant square. Aamer was named after Amba Mata, who was also called Goddess of Meenauo.
