It is believed that Lord Madhukar was seen in a dream by Lord Rama and dreamed of building a temple. In Orchha, Shriram is sent to the light of the temples in Ayodhya. There is a belief that Shriram lives in Orchha during the day. After which Hanuman ji takes Shriram to Ayodhya at night

With this belief, the last aarti is done to send Shriram back to Ayodhya in Orchha. There is considerable peace in Orchha, so to calm the mind it has many historical heritage in Orchha as well as there are many forts that tell different stories.
